If you’re looking for sales on home decor, then there’s no better 2-day sale than Wayfair’s Way Day–and while everything on their site might not be on sale, most of everything you see will have a sale going on. And if it doesn’t and that’s the product you want, then damn, you’re either really picky or downright unlucky in your product choices and their sale happenstances.
Wayfair has most of the essentials of what you’d want in your house without being too crazy looking or out of character (such as with the odd things you might find us promoting on Worthy of Me).
Their products have a sense of dignity, you could say.
Most of the ones we promote have been neutered, for lack of a better description.
I’m getting off track though. Seeing as this sale only lasts two days, you’re short on time for when you’ll need to buy something, and they might be short on stock for what you want to buy, so it’s a precarious balance here.
That’s not to say their products won’t have sales at a later date.
But Way Days sales are obviously pre-determined.

When is Wayfair’s Way Day event?
It starts April 28 and ends April 29, so you’ll get two full days of shopping, or figuring out what it is you need most in your house. Kitchen appliances? Some new lighting? Pets need some crates, beds, or scratching posts?

Major Appliances

Some might say these major appliances could be considered a necessity, and if you’re in need of a new one of these necessities, or an upgrade, then thank god for the Way Day sale, because any money saved on some of these appliances is a good thing, as they can go for a hefty price.
The appliances I’m talking about, of course, are centered around refrigerators, ovens, cooktops, washers and dryers, fireplaces, and more.
Some are in the thousands range, while others keep to the few hundred.
Like I said, any help from Way Day is a blessing, if you’re in need of one of these appliances.
Furniture
Bedroom Furniture

With so many types of furniture, starting with bedroom furniture seems like the safest bet. I mean, we’ve got our dressers, and our beds, and our headboards and mattresses, and all that stuff that actually belongs in the bedroom.
I think the nightstands are a bit on the iffy side though. You could probably take them out of the bedroom–and one of the choices I list is a possibility on that one.
Despite that, bedroom furniture are very much-needed, otherwise things would be a bit bland and you’d have nowhere to put your stuff.
I’ve seen a lot of Way Day sales on nice-looking nightstands, personally.

There’s tons of times when I grab a book and read in bed, or I write in a notebook, or I work on my laptop, or I do this or that before falling asleep. Typically when you walk through the front door, the first thing you’re going to be greeted with are possibly hooks to place your coats or backpacks if you’ve got kids. Maybe even a spot for shoes, if you’re the kind of household that takes your shoes off when you come in.

Another thing people might have is an umbrella holder, for those rainy days.
Again, this is such a weird concept for me, but maybe that’s because I don’t really live in a place that rains a lot? I feel like a lot of animes I watch have these kinds of things, and old TV shows have this kind of stuff, but I don’t think I’ve ever really noticed households have them.

Oh keep Mom away from this section of Wayfair or she’s going to have a field day. In fact, just recently (as of this post), my parents and I were watching a home makeover show and they were showing the kitchen portion and my mom pointed out that she wanted that kitchen island for Mother’s Day.
Well, my dad told her he didn’t have their number.
I told her our kitchen was too small.
Meaning she’s not going to get the kitchen island she wants because that sucker was huge and that woman has expensive tastes, and not even the Way Day sale could’ve helped me out on that one with the job I work at.
But moms, if you want some new kitchen or dining room furniture, then by golly, you buy it. Or make someone else buy it, because Mother’s Day is near, as my own mom pointed out.

Maybe that’s just me, though.
When it comes to my actual work area I’m OCD, but when I’m at my house I’m in a destructive work environment.

Not only that, but men need to organize their tools in the garage (trust me, I know this because my dad has trouble finding his tools all the time), and then there’s wall shelving, and shoe storage, and so much more.
In fact, just recently, my parents put in wall shelving in their room and their bathroom. It’s such a clean design.

I always envied a friend of mine who had a hot tub right outside the house.
I wanted a hot tub because our shower never stayed hot long enough for me to really enjoy myself, and the worst part of taking a shower was having to actually leave it.

In conclusion…
First off, holy crap, Wayfair has a lot of stuff on their website, and it was a lot to take in in such as short notice, regarding their Way Day event.
I mean, I read their e-mail about it the morning before it was going live, I’m pretty sure, so I didn’t have any time to plan this post. Which is why I wrote it all in the span of less than ten hours. And after I hit publish, I had to sleep and hope I wasn’t going to go full-on zombie mode at work, because I needed to edit the post when I got home to make it look a bit cleaner.

Secondly, you’ll notice that I didn’t go through every sub-category and list worthy choices. That’s because I didn’t feel like there were a lot of unique choices that I personally would’ve wanted in every sub-category.
A lot of them would’ve depended on your preference on what you were looking for and what you needed at the time of the sale.
