25+ Charmander Products Worthy of A Heated Start

Charmander is one of the first starter Pokemon to choose from in the beginning of the Pokemon franchise, and I’m pretty sure my first choice upon playing the game the first time.

Little did I know, the first gym battle with Brock would not be in my favor.

Of course I didn’t choose a Pokemon who had an advantage over stupid rocks…

But there’s still a love for Charmander in my heart, and I know many other people feel the same, especially in regards to the unfortunate circumstances in which Ash found him.

It all turned out for the best though.

Well, until he evolved, but that’s another story and another episode. We’re here to talk products!

3D Printed

Air Plant Holder

DipsandPrints have created a variety of Pokemon air plant holders, including this playful Charmander figure. Unless it’s not playing at all. Maybe the plant’s choking it and it can’t breathe.

Oh well.

Keep in mind that the plants you need are going to be on the smaller side of the spectrum. A miniature Pokemon can only hold so much.

Hand-Painted 3D Charmander

I like the way this 3D figurine looks, because it’s not smoothed out to look the way a natural kids-show Charmander might. Instead, they made it sort of geometrical with a lot of angles to it. It’s unique.

Keep the Flame Alive 3D Files

If you’ve been a fan of Pokemon from the beginning, then you’ll remember the episode where Ash finds this Pokemon. A sad episode, indeed.

Well here’s a 3D printed version to remember it even more, because who doesn’t love this kind of sadness in a children’s show? You’ll need to have a 3D printer available, as this product only gives you the files, not the figurine itself.

Arts & Crafts

Charmander Amigurumi

If you like to crochet, then here’s a pattern (not a finished product) you can use to teach yourself how to create your very own chibi Char with a Pokeball for it to even fit it.

I doubt it can get any more adorable than this.

Crochet Hat Pattern

Don’t let the finished hat picture fool you, this is actually a PDF pattern the creator is selling, not an already completed product. That’s right–you’re going to have to put in the work to crochet this cute Charmander hat.

The heat is on.

Your head.

Pompom Pokemon

And here I’m eating my words at doubting the adorableness, but instead of having a single Charmander to create, this book shows you a variety of Pokemon you can craft as pompoms.

I’ve actually never heard of this type of craft before. The only pompom I’m aware of are the ones cheerleaders wave about.

But these look way more fun to make than waving around balls of string things.

Books

Charmander Sees A Ghost

This is a board book, but also comes as a hardcover. It doesn’t tie into the original story of Pokemon as we know it, but keeps to a short and sweet story about a Charmander. Perfect for the younger generation, or for adults that love their Pokemon.

Pokemon Go Children’s Coloring Book

It certainly doesn’t focus on one Pokemon, but I figured nobody wants a singular coloring page. With this coloring book, your child (or you, or someone else) will be bogged down with filling in the lines of a variety of Pokemon…including yours truly.

3D Pokemon Battle

Come on, if you love Pokemon, and you obviously love this fire-breather, because you’re looking at this page, then you should at least own 3D artwork featuring a Pokemon battle.

The only thing that’d complete this piece is if it came with the Pokemon’s battle cries.

Build a Bear Charmander

I don’t know if this was a limited availability Build a Bear plushie, but I didn’t find it one the actual website anymore. That makes me wonder if it’s available in stores only, or if it ran as a limited edition for a short time.

Either way, this Build a Bear is happy about not being a bear while wearing a Great Ball hoodie.

Charmander Print

This 5 x 7 print is one of my favorites, probably because a lot of people use color in their art, and graphite is just used less. But the sketchy style of it makes me enjoy it all the more.

We mention it on its own Charmander Print page.

Funko Charmander POP!

If you like big heads on small bodies with frightening soulless eyes staring at you, then you might like Funko products. A lot of people collect these figures, as they are quite adorable and fun to look at in their own right.

Here’s #4 in the Pokemon Funko line.

Hot Fire Print

This is a Charmander watercolor print made by Nashi. They create beautiful pieces of work and the colors they use are so vibrant and fitting for the characters they portray.

Definitely give them a follow on Instagram, if you have the platform.

Perler Sprite

I enjoy looking at the unique pieces of art people make. If this were a bland Pokemon, I probably wouldn’t have placed it on here, but because it’s made with perler beads and also has a Pokeball it stands on (of the same beads), I had to add it in.

Too interesting and valued as a collectible not to.

Besides, it’s a throwback to all the pixelated Charmanders out there.

PEZ Candy Pokemon Dispenser

It’s been such a long time since I had any PEZ. I used to eat a lot of them when I was a kid, but I think it got to the point where I didn’t care for the taste. Once that happened, I started collecting PEZ dispensers, but then stopped.

But hey, I know a lot of people do collect these guys, so here’s another!

Playing with Fire Figurine

A lot of Pokemon products just have the pokemon itself, such as plushies or even figurines themselves. But here’s a Charmander in action, showing off some flaming hot skills. Can you take the heat?

I mean, you should. I don’t think it gives off any.

Sleeping Charmander Terrarrium

Your Pokemon isn’t content until its in a little hibernation chamber, full of lush foliage just waiting to be burned to the ground, because this Pokemon has an open flame on its tail.

Don’t call Smokey the Bear.

Surfing the Clouds Figure

We’ve seen Pikachu surfing the waves a lot in the beachtime weather, and we already know Squirtle surfs the waves whenever he wants, so here’s a Charmander surfing the clouds, on the wings of a Charizard, it looks like.

Whether it’s a free ride or not, we’ll never know, but at least he looks like he’s having fun up there.

Wretched Charmander Figurine

Some people collect Funko POPS! Others collect…the weirder figures out there. This is one of the weirder ones.

Airpod Case

I swear this Pokemon just keeps getting cuter with all these products. If you enjoy your fire types and have Airpods in need of a case, I don’t think you need to look any further.

Kind of weird that his mouth doesn’t actually open though.

Charmander Inspired Rave Bra

I mean, what kind of site would this be if I didn’t add in this fire-type fashion statement? It’s not every day that someone makes a fancy bra inspired by a starter Pokemon.

Light My Fire

I had to add in a shirt, and it was kind of hard to find a unique one, but this brought a chuckle out of me. I’m not sure if Charmander’s voice would do the song justice, but I don’t want to get flamed for saying I wouldn’t at least listen to him sing.

Onesie Kid’s Costume

This onesie isn’t just for kids who like to dress up as their favorite characters on Halloween–it can also be used as pajamas! Don’t treat your kid like poor Ralphie in his bunny costume in A Christmas Story, give them something the wanna wear!

Plush Charmander Slippers

We have the costume above us, so why not grab a pair of slippers to match, right? Unfortunately, I don’t know if these slippers are fit for kids…

Shiny Charmander Enamel Pin

A lot of people play Pokemon Go, but not everyone has had the honor of catching a shiny. So if you can’t find a shiny out in the wilderness, just head over to Etsy and wear the shiny on your person to show it off.

Games

Pin the Tail on the Charmander

Remember when Pin the Tail on the Donkey was a thing for kids to play at a variety of parties? Me either. I mean, I remember the game, but I don’t recall ever being at a party to play it.

I do recall being at parties that did bobbing for apples or smacking pinatas with a baseball bat though.

Still, here’s a fun game for the kiddies.

Pokemon Chess

Yes, Monomera3D has done it–they’ve created a Chess game with chess pieces in the shapes of either Pokeballs, or Pokemon themselves. Of those Pokemon, Charmander had been included, thus it warrants a shout-out.

Plus, who would’ve thought to even make this a kind of Pokemon game?
