12 Harry Potter Bookends Worthy of a Wizard Who Reads

12 Harry Potter Bookends Worthy of a Wizard Who Reads

If you’re a Harry Potter fan, then you’ve probably read the books. And there are quite a few of the books, so there’s no doubt you’ll need to keep those books stacked somewhere on the shelves. And if you’re going to accumulate a bunch of books like that, then why not have one or two or even more Harry Potter Bookends.

Then again, maybe you don’t like the books and prefer the movies.

In which case you can use the bookends maybe to stack up your DVD cases!

Personally, I liked the first few books back when I read them as a kid, but looking back on them, they seem a bit too childish for my liking. I still enjoy some Young Adult books from time to time, but HP isn’t really high on that list.

But the movies? I dig the movies.

Harry Potter Bookends

Basilisk Bookend

Here’s one of the big ol’ villains in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, if you were a fan of that book! I love the attention to detail in all the scales, I just kind of wish they didn’t make it all gold and stuck to its original color.

Diagon Alley Diorama

This is such a cool bookend, because it can actually sit in the center of your books, instead of on the end of them, just to make it seem like it’s part of the books themselves. But it’s not, because it shows Diagon Alley on the inside.

Now, this works if you’re able to keep your books upright in the first place. Otherwise, might want to get that situation fixed first.

Dobby

Can’t say that I’m a fan of how Dobby looks in the picture. He’s got that hollowed-out eyes look that makes it seem he’s on some kind of drugs. I mean, he could be, judging from who he worked for prior to Harry setting him free.

Harry and Hedwig

The sculpture of this book end is satisfying to look at, because it depicts Harry Potter with a startled or concerned look on his face while Hedwig is perched on his arm. The amount of detail in both of them is something that’s difficult to get unless time is taken.

Harry and Hermione Set

This looks adorable and is perfect for those who like to put Harry and Hermione together in fanfiction or artwork of any kind. Two main characters just hanging out reading books on spells.

I’d say I’m disappointed there’s no Ron, but can you really see Ron reading a book in peace? C’mon.

Harry Potter Metal Bookend

Compared to the other products in this listing, it’s rather ordinary in its design, but it gets the job done as a Harry Potter bookend, yeah? I like the gold accents, but I don’t think he actually has a scar showing on his forehead, which is a missed detail, I think, given it’s supposed to be Harry here.

Hogwarts

Well you can’t exactly have Harry Potter without Hogwarts, so I’m super happy that MokuShop over on Etsy decided to craft a Hogwarts Bookend. The etchings look very detailed without it being overly realistic, of course, and you can order it in two styles.

Hogwarts Express

All aboard the Hogwarts Express! Your two-stop bookend set, where the train goes through one side and comes out the other. Such a refreshing look to several of the replica designs of the other Harry Potter bookends–but all of them still look pretty amazing in their own right.

Hogwarts Gate Bookend

So we have an actual Hogwarts castle style of bookend, but here we have the gates to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. This is sure to capture the attention of anyone who happens to look upon your collection of books, though I don’t think many will be able to know what it’s from.

Platform 9 3/4

Reminisce on the first moments of Harry Potter needing to board the train to Hogwarts, without actually knowing how to get to the train. I like these Harry Potter bookends that start with one figure on one end and is something completely different on the other end.

Snowy Owl Bookends

I’m kind of iffy on throwing this one on here, because it’s not exactly Hedwig, but Hedwig is a snowy owl. So…I guess it still fits as one of the Harry Potter bookends section?

Wizard Chess Knight – Black and White Version

I wish Noble Collection sold the black and white version of this Wizard Chess bookend together, instead of selling each one separately. But if you loved the chess portion of Harry Potter, despite it probably putting everyone on edge, these are some cool super-sized versions.
