Pop Mart is selling these insanely adorable creatures that I assume are called Yokis, but they’re being sold in a blind box, and I wanted to group them all in this Yoki Gemstone Prince list so you can see what all they got.
Like I said, these Yokis are super adorable–they have bat-like ears and look like something straight out of an anime or video game. Not only that, but they are princes, and they keep these gemstones at their hands, or feet, whichever you want to call them.
Personally, I don’t care if they are princes, I’d keep one as a pet if I could.
With what I said on the blind box ordeal, there are basically 12 normal Yoki Gemstone Princes, and 1 hidden.
If you’ve collected Funko Pops before, it’s kind of like that, with the whole Chase Pops.
Purchasing a whole set from Pop Mart gives you a chance at the hidden prince and shouldn’t give you any duplicates, but just in case you want a specific Yoki Gemstone Prince, we’ll show you what you might find.
Spoiler: They’re all worth it.
Yoki Gemstone Prince List
Amethyst
I am an Aquarius, so my birthstone is amethyst–and thank goodness because I don’t mind this color, but I really have a thing with the fashion sense going on here.
The stripes aren’t working for me.
This prince has gone batty if he thinks that outfit is in style.
He’s lucky he’s cute, so I’ll give him a pass. And he’s mighty pleased with that gemstone too.
Aquamarine
I almost missed it, but he’s got little water spirals at the bottom of his outfit, how cute is that! (You’re probably going to hear me mention the word cute a lot in this post, so I apologize ahead of time, but seriously, they are.)
Aside from that clothing flair, he’s pretty much an average Yoki with an aquamarine gem though.
Citrine
All right, one look and I’m almost making that sour I-sucked-on-a-lemon face.
Almost.
Something about me an bright colors. They really just throw me off. I’m not particularly fond of them. I think maybe it’s because I have chronic migraines and lights are a trigger so I keep to the darker color spectrum, but…I don’t know.
It’s interesting, because his outfit reminds me of getting out of bed and going to bed, with the sun, but also stars for bedtime.
Diamond
Next to the “secret” Yoki Gemstone Prince, this has to be my favorite one in the list. It’s gorgeous.
I love how they put little bits of color into it but stuck with the white color scheme because diamonds are basically transparent that reflect the light around them. So this cutie is more or less albino in nature.
Goldstone
That’s not gold, that’s a pumpkin seed–you can’t fool me!
All right, maybe you can. I know what a gold bar looks like, I’ve played plenty of video games, but I don’t know what goldstone is, per se, or what it technically looks like, so this prince wins this round.
He’s seriously giving me pumpkin or candy corn vibes though.
And a wink.
Pearl
Look at that, you found a pearl without even having to go searching for clams and yanking their mouths open to look inside. All it took was finding this handsome Yoki Gemstone Prince.
I think he deserves to sit inside of a cleaned out clam on a white cotton blanket, kind of like the image.
Love the gradient colors they chose for him, especially as it settles to a light blue.
Peridot
See what happens when you eat too many greens in your life? You turn into the equivalent of the Jolly Green Giant. Except in this prince’s case, a more miniaturized version.
That blush to his cheeks stands out though, and I really like how they made his crown different than the others, and how it stands out so much better because of it.
I know some of the others are different, but his is definitely more unique looking.
Rose Quartz
He looks rather fascinated with that rose gemstone, don’t you think? Like he’s not sure where it came from or how it ended up in his hands or what he should even do with it.
It’s yours, buddy!
Keep it away from the greedy hands of mankind.
Let them focus on your cuteness.
Ruby
I have to say, I expected ruby to be more, I don’t know, ruby, like red. Like when someone mentioned ruby red lips I don’t think of a salmon pink, do you?
Maybe someone was colorblind on this one, not sure.
But this Gemstone Prince is a cutie, and he’s got kind of this distant look to his eyes like he wishes he was somewhere else and not sitting on whatever their butt is currently sitting on.
Someone grab a cushion for these collectibles, sheesh.
Sapphire
Sapphire is the court’s jester that became too tired of his own joes it looks like. How utterly adorable.
And the little toe curl? Oh my gosh.
The closed eyes, the jester’s hat, the stars on the cape, and the overall color spectrum that sticks with the sapphire spectrum appeals to me.
I love sleeping too little fella.
“Secret” (Obsidian)
Well no wonder this little dude was under the secret category, look at him! It’s like bringing Stitch to Earth! He look looks like he belongs in an underground laboratory plotting evil things to do to us or world domination.
I feel like there should be a melodramatic orchestra playing in the background while looking at him.
That’s an epic design though. I want.
Tourmaline
Don’t put tourmaline outside in a flower pot no matter how cute it’ll look in it with your flowers, I swear, something is going to come along and nibble on those leaf-like ears.
Interesting story with the gem it’s holding–it’s not one color. Tourmaline is actually a range of colors, and what the Prince is holding reminds me of a Jolly Rancher and now my mouth is watering.
Yoki Gemstone Prince Series Whole Set
What do you think? Owning just one isn’t enough after seeing what all they look like, right? Planning on getting all of the little guys in this Yoki Gemstone Prince list now (excluding one, of course, because you’ll only be getting 12 and there are 13)?
You might even get the diabolical secret Obsidian Yoki Gemstone Prince.
It’s just always a let-down when you don’t get that one you want though y’know?
