Find Love or Die Trying – Worth Trying in Hopes of Not Dying

Find Love or Die Trying–it’s a simple enough task, right? One pretty much everyone is given in their whole entire life; a task everyone tries to strive to complete in a list of many, even though for some of us it’s at the bottom of the list and get rich has a higher priority, depending on our age and mentality.

But in regards to the game, yeah, it’s just this one task.

Is Find Love or Die Trying worthy of me?

  • Unique twist on a game show dating sim
  • Soundtrack be jammin’
  • Free to play
  • Short sequence of dates
  • Sorry, no nudity

I saw this visual novel and I wanted to stream it, but I was like, oh gosh, is there nudity? Because most visual novels I want to play have nudity and if that was the case I’d have to reserve it for my patrons, but nope! For once I was in the clear.

And then my next thought was oh lord is this going to be like Doki Doki Literature Club, because even though I haven’t played that game as of writing this, I’ve basically seen the gameplay and what it’s about and with a title like Find Love or Die Trying, these chicks have to be some kind of psychos.

Well, Doki Doki or Kill or Love.

That one had a crazy lady in it too.

It didn’t end up like how I figured it would though. There was definitely a bit of a twist in there that made you think about who you actually wanted to choose to end up “hooking up with” in the end, since your first shot at it doesn’t go quite as planned. And then you start to question if your choice ever really mattered to begin with…

But man, I really freaking liked Scarlett…and not just because of her outfit, either.

But that might’ve been a big part of it.

Did you know Find Love or Die Trying references another visual novel?

That’s right. During an event with Terra, us and the other flunkies are turned into pigeons and as part of some twisted “visual novel” must woo Terra in order to turn back into people, or something like that, due to a severe shortage in pigeon visual novel romances out there.

This, of course, is aimed at Hatoful Boyfriend, which is an avian dating sim.

She also creates another game called “Starblue Valley.” Wonder what that one took credit from.

Is “One” supposed to be James from Team Rocket?

You might’ve noticed that the introduction of the five crew members sounded an awful lot like Team Rocket from Pokemon.

With that in mind, I believe the purple-haired One is meant to be more of a nod toward James, especially because he seems to be the one that’s picked on the most, and his hair cut is practically on point?

What movie does Terra want to watch with us?

The Birds, directed by Hitchcock back in 1963. It was super popular in the horror/thriller genre and if you haven’t heard about or seen it, I strongly urge you to watch if you like those genres of movies.

It’s a classic.

How did we find this product?

Saw it on Steam and being someone who has an interest in visual novels, I had to add it to my collection.
