A Pokemon Go Shiny Rayquaza is way better to witness coming in through the clouds than some Lugia that Ash got to ride through the cold waters of get-the-hell-outta-my-head. Plus, despite the gaping mouth with razor sharp fangs, the Rayquaza has quite the kissable lips, don’t you think?
Maybe don’t try kissing it though.

Oh to have a legendary Pokemon with ruby red lipstick that actually doesn’t look like it wants to molest your face with that mouth–just eat you instead. Because the red is the blood from its victims. I mean, I guess it is, because look how angry the thing looks. I’d sooner pull an Abra and flee than throw a pokeball at its face.
That aside, the shiny Rayquaza in Pokemon Go does look nice, with its darker evergreen skin tone, which I actually prefer, rather than the lighter, brighter body.
It just looks more evil, don’t you think?
And who doesn’t like collecting evil looking Pokemon, given that the whole point of the game is to make your opponent faint.
Unless you’re the type who dresses cute to kill, then maybe stick with Togepi or something.
In regards to the question, yes I think that the shiny Rayquaza is totally worth owning, however it’s a difficult task due to it being found via tier 5 raids, and not only that, but you have a very slim chance of one even being shiny in the first place.
And if it is shiny, you have to at least be able to catch it as well. Otherwise your second chance might be a long way away unless there’s a specific event going on that leads to more raids featuring the Rayquaza and you’re in the appropriate place to bounce from raid area to raid area.

After getting an email from a recent Pokemon Go event. I was thinking back to the days when I actually played the game (and yes, I was a spoofer), then I started thinking on the legendaries and this sucker popped up in my brain.
