Porcelain Swan Princess – Worthy of its Elegant Design

0

A lot of porcelain collectors enjoy their doll showcasing, but if you’re not into the creepy doll thing, then you should think about something birdlike and pretty, such as this porcelain swan princess. Don’t worry about needing to kiss it on the beak–that’s for the frog prince only.

The Swan Princess is a big sized fantasy swan, crowned as a princess in different folk tales such as the Tale of Tsar Saltan or the Legend of the Swan Lake. Fully engraved with floral motives with russian inspiration, underlining its fantasy essence. Glazed porcelain in traditional blue colours. Also available as a limited edition (item number 01001942) with golden luster and enamels.

Is the Porcelain Swan Princess worthy of me?

Does the crown look like a princess crown to you? Or does it look like a chef hat? Because the longer I stare at it, the more it tends to look like the latter.

Aside from that, this sculpture is gorgeous.

The floral decorations all along the body and wings, the pale blue tinting into white on the ends, and the overall soft colors. The designer knew what they were doing when crafting something as elegant as the swan into a product like this.

I mean, the birds are gorgeous just in white, but the soft noted colors bring out the prettiness without going overboard.

And a lot of times when you see swans as a decoration piece they’re glass sculptures with little to not color but light reflections, which in itself is just as pretty.

A bit far from the design of the Swan Princess movie though, if that’s what you were shooting for on this page.

Still. Worthy.

How did we find this product?

While searching for items from a specific date, I found a product on this site. But the original product I’d been looking at wasn’t quite as elegant as this one. So, despite it not being from the date I’d sought, it’s beyond worthy of swan lovers.
