Resident Evil 8 Collector’s Edition – Worthy of Mother Miranda

Resident Evil 8 Collector’s Edition – Worthy of Mother Miranda

I suppose you could say if the Resident Evil 8 Collector’s Edition was so worthy of Mother Miranda, then it would probably come with a Mother Miranda figurine instead of Chris Redfield, but maybe she has a thing for him. You don’t know.

I bet you might’ve had a thing for Lady Dimitrescu.

Can’t wait for your thoughts on that one.

Resident Evil 8 Collector's Edition

Is the Resident Evil 8 Collector’s Edition worthy of me?

  • Collector’s Edition includes: Full game + trauma pack DLC, Chris Redfield figurine, hardcover art book, reversible cloth map, and steelbook
  • Collector’s editions sell out fast, and this is a product that every die-hard RE fan might drop their money on.

I don’t know about you, but when I heard that Resident Evil 8 had vampires and werewolves in it, I became super excited. I’ve never played the series before (don’t hate me), because zombies were just so overdone and they just became and annoyance overtime, like a plague of mosquitos.

Resident Evil 7 actually caught my attention though because it veered away from the whole zombies want to gnaw on my head and eat my brains (not to mention the graphics were insane).

And then Resident Evil Village shows up and boom, up pops my lady boner.

So what’s in the Resident Evil 8 Collector’s Edition?

You’ll get four different products (not including the actual game) that you can actually have to hold and collect.

  • Chris Redfield Figure
  • 64-Page Hardcover Art Book
  • Reversible Microfiber Cloth Map
  • SteelBook®

Out of all these items, I have to say the map is pretty cool, though I kind of wish there was more than one map, since we can get more than one in the game. Like, this is one for the Village, but can we get a full map of all locations for Castle Dimitrescu too?

The Resident Evil collectors will probably be reaching for that Chris Redfiend figure though, and I don’t blame them.

He’s looking pretty serious, and it’s downright sexy and detailed.

What’s in the Trauma Pack DLC?

Aside from the above-mentioned products, the in-game items from the Trauma Pack DLC can be found within the Deluxe Edition, for anyone wanting to purchase that instead of the Resident Evil 8 Collector’s Edition.

  • Samurai Edge – AW Model-01
You’ll need to purchase this from the merchant.
  • Resident Evil 7 Found Footage Filter
Check in the Options menu, under the “Special” tab
  • Resident Evil 7 Tape Recorder Save Point
Check in the Options menu, under the “Special” tab
  • Saferoom Music “Go Tell Aunt Rhody”
Check in the Options menu, under the “Special” tab
  • Mr. Everywhere Weapon Charm
You’ll need to purchase this from the merchant.
  • Unlock “Village of Shadows” Difficulty
Available upon starting a new game
  • The Tragedy of Ethan Winters Artwork
Look within the Bonuses section of the main menu
  • The Baker Incident Report
Look within the Bonuses section of the main menu

There are a lot of in-game items for the DLC package, and a lot of them are a nod to Resident Evil 7, so if you liked that game, then you’ll probably enjoy some of these little trinkets. Unfortunately for you, you’ll need to actually make a purchase to buy the DLC gun and weapon charm, but everything else is mostly readily available for you.

How did we find this product?

Well, the game came out, and I’ve been binge-watching everyone play it on YouTube, so of course I’m going to be yammering on about it.
