World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade – A Worthy Collector’s Edition

0

The World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Collector’s Edition comes with a whole lot more than just a game to play. I mean, it’s a collector’s edition, not just a pretty box to look at. From an art book, to trading cards, to an in-game pet (via product key), to game codes for 30 days of trialing.

Of course, in order to get the whole benefit of the edition as a whole…you might not want to buy one that’s used.

Burning Crusade Collector's Edition

Is the Burning Crusade worthy of me?

  • Worth it for the collectors out there
  • Illidan will remind you that you’re not prepared
  • Hard to find a collector’s edition with everything in tact
  • Not cheap for a sealed box

I never played much of the Burning Crusade expansion of World of Warcraft, mainly because I started around the time of Wrath of the Lich King, but I certainly know the Outlands continent well enough, from all the farming I’ve done in those zones. I can’t say I’ve fully completed all the questlines in every area, but maybe half of all of them.

As for the normal dungeons of Burning Crusade? They were fun!

The raids though?

I wasn’t much into them. But then again, I didn’t really ever get into raiding in any kind of expansion, so you can’t get my opinion on those. All I know is Illidan tells you you’re not prepared. I think. Maybe that’s another expansion for another time? I’m not sure. There’s way too many expansions to keep track of.

With the collector’s edition, I say go for it if you’ve got the money (duh) and are basically a hardcore collector of these kinds of special edition boxes, but also if you enjoy art books of games, trading cards, and in-game pets.

The 30-day trial code is a little bit meh unless you want to gift it to someone or create an alternate account, I guess.

How did we find this product?

The Burning Crusade Classic has been released for World of Warcraft, and while this post was up for a while before this happened, it was due for a bit of an update. Plus, collector’s editions are nice, and I work on a lot of WoW guides.
