Okay, so they call it a “sports mug,” but let’s call it by what it actually is–a Basketball Mug. It’s got a single main focus and that’s the dribblin’ sport of shooting hoops. Or shooting whatever is actually in the bowl at the time, as long as it’s solid.
Though I suppose you could try to squirt liquid through the hoop.

Is the Basketball Mug worthy of me?
It certainly brings a sense of playtime to the breakfast table, if the bowl is going to be filled with something like cereal or oatmeal. But depending on the food, the kid might or might not be able to slam dunk anything.
It’s a super unique look, and I love how it was thought up by a kid entrepreneur. Good on Max for this one!
But breakfast is only one thing the mug can be use for. It can carry snacks in it, or even be used for drinks. It’s very versatile due to it not being quite a bowl and leaning toward an oversized coffee mug of sorts. I don’t like basketball or any kind of sports, really, but if I had this as a kid I would’ve enjoyed the hell out of it.
Just be mindful that it can become a distraction to your kid, and there’s the possibility of them being late to the school bus because they have to make one more shot.
