11 Cozy Cat Chairs for People Worth More Than Your Cat’s Dirty Butt

11 Cozy Cat Chairs for People Worth More Than Your Cat’s Dirty Butt

It’s easy to search for cat chairs…if you want one for your cat, but my gosh, when you’re looking for cat chairs for people to sit in, they’re a rare breed in and of themselves.

This post had actually came from one of my single posts of a gaming chair that had been getting a lot of hits (recently as of writing this), and I knew I could find cat gaming setup products pretty easily, but I was wondering if I could find some cat chairs for people to sit in.

Well, as you can see, I found them.

It was rough.

I did a lot of searching.

I had to switch up my keywords in Google quite a bit for it to give me different chair products, but I managed to get a variety and not just the same ones over and over again. And of course, I went through pages on Amazon to make I didn’t miss anything unique. I don’t think I did.

Aside from some hunting lounge benches, but…I didn’t think those really fit on here.

Sorry hunters.

Maybe you’ll get the next one.

Cat Chairs for People

You’ll find that most of the products mentioned below cater to kids. Not only that, but a lot of them center around the color pink.

So if you’ve got a daughter or know of a girl that could use a cat chair gift, then you’ve found a great post. We’ve showcased a good many of them and a lot of them are adorable.

That doesn’t mean I skimped out on you adults though.

As an adult myself, I found at least a couple for you to check out. Only a couple though. (Cats don’t care about us old folk.)

Cat Kid’s Chair

Cat Chairs for People

  • Pads on feet to keep from slipping
  • Part of an animal chair collection

  • Not comfortable for long period of sit times

This reminds me of the chairs I used to sit in at the dinner table for big get togethers. The grown-ups would be in the dining room at the big dining room table and the little youngsters would be sitting in the kitchen at the smaller kitchen table as well as the smaller kids table meant for the even younger kids.

That’s where these chairs would come into play.

Actually, I remember we’d have little plastic chairs, honestly, so we had play chairs, not even actual wood chair look-alikes. And they looked nothing like animals either.

And mine was pink! Ugh! MOTHER!

Oh how times change. Now I sit at the big girl table with the rest of my family when I’m not being an obnoxious little introvert and cowering away in my room. But this little kitty chair right here is one of the perfect cat chairs for people who need a place for their kid to sit at the table, or even somewhere to sit so they can play with their arts and crafts stuff at a smaller table they own.

Can’t really have one without the other, right? That’d be awkward.

I guess you could give this cat a more demonic look and have it become their time-out chair, though. Make them fear cats.

Cat Paw Cushion

Cat Chairs for People - Cat Paw Cushion

  • Sit in anywhere you’re gonna sit
  • Comes in a variety of colors
  • Can take it wherever you want

  • Variety of sellers

If you’re scratching your head on this one–well, if you can put the cat paw on a chair and sit on it, then I say it officially belongs on a cat chairs for people post.

Technically, if you think about it, it really is a chair, whether you’re putting it in a chair or on the ground. Kind of like how a beanbag is a chair. You’re sitting on it.

(Okay, don’t worry, I’ll put cushions on other posts…maybe…ugh.)

Anyway, these are super cute, like a cat is holding you in their oversized paw instead of you holding them in your hand as a little kitten.

I should probably invest in something like this. At the moment, in my gaming chair, I’m sitting on a pillow for cushion, since my chair doesn’t really have anything good down there to keep my butt from getting uncomfortable after hours on end of sitting here. And trust me when I say I’m here all day.

Searching for cat chairs.

DXRacer Pink Kitty Gaming Chair

Cat Chairs for People - DXRacer Pink Kitty Gaming Chair

  • Perfect for a gamer who loves cats
  • Can fit in with a pink gamer setup as well

  • It’s pink

This is the chair that initially set this post into motion, however, I created the post for the black and white version of the chair.

If you happened to look at the other post, you have to admit, the black and white cat chair for people is such a refreshing sight after seeing all this pink sear your retinas.

Tell me I’m not the only one that thinks this.

And yet I’m the one finding the products. I know, I’m a glutton for abuse. And I’m pulling you into it, and that makes it okay. I’m not the only one suffering, I tell myself. And hopefully I’m helping you find products that could be worthy of you and your family, right? Or at least they’re cool. Or weird.

You’re getting a chuckle at least, yeah?

Garden Cat Chair

Cat Chairs for People - Garden Cat Chair

  • Perfect for the garden scene
  • Unique look

  • Not the most comfortable chair to sit in for long periods of time
  • Lacks color

You know what, I’m happy I found this chair here, because as of writing this, I don’t have very many garden products on this site, and it’s nice to see something this unique. It reminds me of my grandma’s house, actually, because they have this deck at the back of the house that opens up into a garden and they used to sit out there and bird watch.

My grandparents really liked birds, I think, because they’ve got a ton of home decor centered around them, including a coocoo clock, another bird clock that chimes with different realistic sounds of birds, and bird kitchen items, and…yeah, you get the picture.

So this sort of jogged some memories.

And I love how the three cats are stacked up like that with that one bird on top pestering that smaller cat. Must be a blue jay. I hear they have an attitude problem.

So definitely not one of the indoor cat chairs for people, but definitely an outdoor garden chair for people who would like to enjoy nature.

Grey Cat Foldable Sofa

Cat Chairs for People - Grey Cat Foldable Sofa

  • Perfect gift for kids
  • Folds out for kids to lay on

  • Might be awkward to grip to carry around

Don’t overestimate how small this sofa is. It’s on a cat chairs for people post but it’s meant to very small people.

My nieces and nephew got fold-out sofas when they were a whole lot younger and they loved them whenever they came over to visit. They’ve outgrown them at this point, of course, but while they could still lay on them, they did.

Whether they laid on them in the bedroom to play on their tablets or to read, or to lay (for the most part) in the living room and watch the television with my parents or on their own while my parents did their own things, they were always on them, when they weren’t outside playing or down in the basement doing something.

In fact, they were using the foldable sofas so much, that one year on Christmas I decided to give them all glow in the dark blankets.

It seemed fitting.

So yeah, if you’ve got kids that you want to get them to lounge around and watch kids show, while also sit up and teach them to read, this might be something to contemplate.

Kid’s Cat Armrest Couch

Cat Chairs for People - Kid's Cat Armrest Couch

  • Adorable
  • Provides good back support
  • Non-slip feet provides stability and prevents scratches
  • Lightweight and can be picked up and moved around

  • None so far

I can imagine a kid sitting in front of the chair and playing patty-cake with the front paws drawn on the front of the arm rests and it’s adorable to think about. The whole time the cat’s face is just so happy with being played with, because that’s how cats are.

Little attention whores.

Until they don’t want to be messed with anymore.

There’s not anything bad to say about this chair, honestly. It’s one of those cat chairs for people with kids who need a place to themselves for reading or watching TV with the family when there’s just not enough room to snuggle on the chairs or couches with the rest of the family.

Sometimes it’s nice to have space to yourself.

Sometimes you’ve got to get that in their heads…and what better way than with a pink kitty chair.

Kitty Blush Sherpa Anywhere Chair

Cat Chairs for People

  • Chair comes in a variety of animal choices
  • Slipcover is Sherpa and can come off for cleaning
  • Lightweight and can be picked up and moved around
  • Personalization available

  • Tail could be tripped on if not careful

I kind of wish they hadn’t put a tail on a kid’s chair.

It’s a cute idea, and they’d no doubt love it because it makes it all the cuter of a chair, but if they’re going to be sitting in it, and the tail’s going to be too short for them to even be able to pull it into their lap, then I don’t see a point. They’d have to be sitting behind it or to the side to even be playing with it, or see it, really.

Aside from that single con factor, it’s a cute kitty chair for kids to sit in for reading or watching TV with the family.

They should be able to move it around if they want to suit their visual needs or comfortability–such as if it’s winter time and the fireplace is going. They can get closer or move further away if they wanted. The slipcover itself should be pretty comfy too.

Another nice touch is the personalization.

If you’ve got more than one kid, then you might want to label which chair is whose, if you’ve bought more than one. Otherwise fights might break out.

Hello Kitty Pouf Stool Chair

Cat Chairs for People - Hello Kitty Pouf Stool Chair

  • Perfect gift for Hello Kitty fans
  • Can be used as a foot stool

  • Not everyone knows who Hello Kitty is

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen anything Hello Kitty related. I remember when that franchise just exploded and she was everywhere and products were thrown left and right related to her.

Don’t get me wrong, I know she’s still out there and being made, maybe, but she’s awfully radio silent about it, y’know?

Because I know there are a lot of Hello Kitty fans still out there, I had to put her on the cat chairs for people list, even if she’s in the form of a stool chair.

If you’re too tall to sit down on something as small as a stool like this, you can always use her as a foot stool, because everyone needs to prop their feet up after a long day of work. And don’t you do that blasphemy bullshit on me either. It’s a stool. Not a cat. Or a character. It’s made from material you buy from your local arts and craft store.

Stop it.

Pink Sophisticated Kitten Chair

Cat Chairs for People - Pink Kitten Chair

  • Great as a kid’s room or living room chair
  • Holds up to 100lbs
  • Available as other chair choices

  • Boys might want another chair

On top of being a cute pink cat chair, it’s also rather sophisticated with that bow tie. I love the markings they chose for it as well, with that white chest hair on the seated portion. It’s a nice look.

I feel like if it could wiggle its eyebrows at me it could.

A little weird.

The information on the product page (on Amazon) didn’t say whether the chair could be easily moved by kids, so I don’t know about all that, but I do know if your kid doesn’t want the Pink Panther over here, there are other animal choices to pick from. I don’t really blame them. There’s a lot of pink on this page and it sort of makes me eyes bleed after a while.

Soft Seated Cat

Cat Chairs for People - Soft Seated Cat

  • Has a handle for carrying
  • Cover can be machine-washed
  • Adorable

  • Mouth might be uncomfortable against backside

This is one of the best cat chairs for people on the list meant for kids just because it has an actual handle on it for it to be carried around. Sure, some of the other chairs can be lifted and carried, but they shouldn’t be, because they’re awkward to be lifted, especially by the kids.

And there’s the hazard with the one with the tail.

But the makers of this soft seated cat chair actually had the thought process to put in a handle to grip. Huh. Who’d be smart enough to come up with that feature?

(Don’t say a cat lover; I’ll virtually slap you.)

I’m relieved it’s a step away from the color pink, despite it’s still a close cousin to the shade. It’s also nice and fluffy looking and I’m sure nice to feel, with its plush exterior.

Velvet Cat Accent Chair

Cat Chairs for People - Velvet Cat Accent Chair

  • Cat chair for boys
  • Unique cat face
  • Soft, velvet upholstery

  • Not quite as cute as other cat chairs

This cat looks like it got caught in the act of beating the crap out of the dog and decided to get one last punch in before letting the canine go. I know you know what I’m talking about.

Cats are jerks. They get in that last punch.

Have you seen those YouTube videos where dogs are afraid to walk past cats? There’s a reason for that. And this cat chair’s face says it all.

This chair isn’t as nice as the others listed on our cat chairs for people, so I’d consider it as a guest chair for people who come over and you don’t really have an extra spot for them to sit in.

“Take a load off and can sit in the cat chair, Richard.”

In conclusion…

There were actually more cat chairs for people than I expected to find (and one cushion, but let’s not talk about the elephant in the room), it’s just that most of them were catered toward children. I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised. Kids are all about the kitties.

Or maybe it’s just because kitties are cute?

Wait until they learn that cats are actually planning world domination and we’re just their stepping stones.
