E3 2021 took place from Saturday, June 12 to Tuesday, June 15, and man did they give us a whole plethora of E3 2021 games that are coming out either this year or have teased us something for next year in this listing I’ve laid out for you. I can honestly never keep track of the dates, so I just get super excited the day a game is actually released.
There are a lot of games in the list that I won’t play (of course, personal preference), but even with them, I can say they look tempting.
Live reaction on YouTube
Now, while I am doing the listing of the titles below, I also want to say that I have been doing a live reaction to the E3 event on my YouTube channel.
If you’re interested in seeing that kind of stuff, just feel free to subscribe to my channel. I do want to be more active with live reactions and such.
With that being said, some comments on games below are slow to show as I’ve been a bit busy.
Sorry about that!
Devolver Digital
Death’s Door
I don’t think this is a door you want to be knock-knock-knockin’ on, but unfortunately for you, it looks like you’ve got your own doors to go through. It looks to be an action-packed hack’n’slash, though maybe not as intense as some of the other ones out there.
I believe the cover art shows a lot if not all the bosses and I swear the old lady has some resemblance to some anime characters I’ve seen…
Developed by Acid Nerve
Scheduled for release on July 20, 2021
Inscryption
Since this comes from the creators of Pony Island, I expect some kind of mind f***ery to happen while playing. And thank god it doesn’t disappoint in that aspect, because I don’t want to play just another card game that progresses the storyline forward.
This one’s got a bit of psychological horror’s caress to the deck.
Developed by Daniel Mullins Games
Scheduled for release on 2021
Tumble Time
Tumble Time is meant to be played on the phone that pokes fun at all the other phone apps that do all those silly microtransactions and play ads at the most inconvenient of times and are just more for adults than kids.
It’s got that edgy humor meant for adults, I’m thinking. I’m down with that.
Developed by Nopopo
Scheduled for release on 2021
Demon Throttle
This demon needs a good throttling, because not only did he steal the chalices of a vampiress–who knows where she got those from and how old those relics are–but he also slept with a gunslinger’s estranged wife.
Two characters which you play as and whoop some serious butt with. Show ’em who’s the real boss at the end of this game.
Or bosses, as the case may be.
Developed by Doinksoft
Scheduled for release on 2022
Trek to Yomi
If you like playing as a samurai with a sense of duty, then you might be interested in this game. There isn’t much to it at this point in time, due to the release date being in the distant future, but you’re a lone samurai honor bound to protect your town and the people you love.
We all know that requires a journey of self-reflection of finding yourself.
Developed by Leonard Menchiari, Flying Wild Hog
Scheduled for release on 2022
Wizard with a Gun
Imagine if Vivi and his clones from Final Fantasy IX were evil gunslingers and you’ve basically got the main characters you’ll be dealing with.
In this online co-op survival game, you get to design weapons, bullets, and furnishings for your tower home base, but apparently you’re also capable of destroying your own tower, since your magic can escalate overboard?
Interesting, if that’s the case.
Developed by Galvanic Games
Scheduled for release on 2022
Koch Media
King’s Bounty 2
If you’re a fan of the King’s Bounty video game franchise, then you might be pretty stoked about this sequel coming out.
You get to play as new accidental heroes who must bring order to the chaos of the fantasy world Antara. Outsmart enemies in turn-based combat and make difficult decisions while experiencing this classic saga in an all new manner.
Developed by 1C Entertainment
Scheduled for release on August 24, 2021
Encased
Got a sci-fi RPG itch that needs some scratching? You should take care of it with some Encased gameplay. It’s actually been in the works for a while, but due to the pandemic going on, things were stalled.
Luckily, they’re back on track with a release date and some tactical and strategic combat with choices that matter thrown into the fray.
Developed by Dark Crystal Games
Scheduled for release on September, 2021
Crossfire Legion
I don’t know much on Crossfire Legion, because they aren’t spilling too much information on it right now, nor of Crossfire itself, but apparently it’s a huge hit as a first person shooter.
But Legion promises to have fast-paced combat as an RTS game.
Developed by Blackbird Interactive
Scheduled for release on 2022
Dolmen
Enter a terrifying sci-fi world within a mysterious planet wrought with horror elements and creatures who try to erase your timeline. Will you survive and cultivate the crystals known as “Dolmen”?
I mean, if you’re good at dynamic combat and switching between ranged and melee, then you should survive.
Developed by Massive Work Studio
Scheduled for release on 2022
Gungrave G.O.R.E
Just the name is interesting enough, don’t you think?
It’s mentioned that Gungrave G.O.R.E might be continuing the trend of blending manga and anime culture into the gameplay, so that’s already a plus for those fans. Aside from that, there’s nothing much else known as of right now regarding actual gameplay–merely what the trailer shows.
Which is still pretty freaking amazing.
Developed by Studio Iggymob
Scheduled for release on 2022
Scars Above
There’s no actual page dedicated to the game itself that I could take you to via a link–there’s only gamer sites that give information and their thoughts on what they saw and heard via E3–but you basically play as an astronaut who’s become stranded on a hostile planet.
Go figure, all alone on a planet where everything hates you. I bet everything looks amazing and begs to be touched too.
Developed by Mad Head Games
Scheduled for release on 2022
The Chant
Need more creepy games in your collection of creepy games? Of course you do. Whatever helps you to not sleep at night.
The Chant is a cosmic thriller featuring some kind of a new age cult, so you know it’s going to head into some kind of dark area that’ll somehow mentally damage you.
Developed by Brass Token
Scheduled for release on 2022
The Last Oricru
I love how they start off by saying this game has a strong sense of storytelling and player choices. Two things I appreciate the most when playing a game–as well as the graphical aesthetics.
You’re a character in a sci-fi medieval world in a time of war and it’s designed for single-player or co-op.
Developed by GoldKnights
Scheduled for release on 2022
Nintendo
Worms Rumble on Switch
You’ve got your battle royales that involve shooters of a variety–they might be a dime a dozen, just set in different scenarios and storylines–plus there’s the highly favored Fall Guys.
And then you have Worms Rumble, where you get to play as worms.
This is for all the times you’ve stepped on them on the driveway when they came up in the rain.
Developed by Team17
Scheduled for release on June 23, 2021
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 on Switch
Tony Hawk has been flippin’ his skateboard in all kinds of moves for so long, that I can’t even count how many years he’s been virtually alive making us envious of his skills that we only wish we had at the local skate park.
And here we have two games now on the Switch.
Developed by Vicarious Visions
Scheduled for release on June 25, 2021
WarioWare: Get it Together
It’s a’him, Wario, coming to Nintendo Switch as a microgame made for single-player or multiplayer!
Sometimes you get tired of Mario, sometimes you have to have the evil dude take hold of your handheld system, and that’s all fine and dandy, as long as he’s not doing too much damage. And he seems to be…getting it together. With your help, of course.
Developed by Nintendo EPD, Intelligent Systems
Scheduled for release on September 10, 2021
Dragon Ball Z Kakarot + A New Power Awakens Set
Well you can’t go wrong with a two-for-one, can you? Ive never been a fan of Dragon Ball Z–I don’t like the characters or how they look, and the only thing I recognize from the anime is the “kamehameha” and “over 9000” memes.
Developed by CyberConnect2
Scheduled for release on September 24, 2021
Astria Ascending
Well it’s written by the same person who helped write Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy VII Remake, so I’m game for this game.
We get to play as demi-gods whose jobs are to protect the peace and harmony from monsters known as Noises.
Developed by Artisan Studios
Scheduled for release on September 30, 2021
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania
All right, I’ll admit the only reason I even know anything about Super Monkey Ball is the fact that he was a character in a mobile fighting game where you had to enhance your characters skills by putting through battles and have them win events. The mobile game is no longer available and I can’t remember the name, but there you have it.
This is a cute arcade type of game where you’ll want to collect as many bananas as you can.

Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda
So apparently this is something that had come out some time ago, but wasn’t Legend of Zelda–it’d been another game? And not it’s featuring Zelda, which is super cool, as it’s such a timeless series that every gamer has at least tried and most love at least one game in the series.
Scheduled for release on November 12, 2021
Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp
Developed by WayForward
Scheduled for release on December 3, 2021
Danganronpa Decadence
Developed by Spike Chunsoft

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water Remaster
Time to get flashy with your camera skills, if my memory serves correctly.
The last time I even looked at a Fatal Frame game was back when I went to a career center. My friend had the game for console, and I can’t remember which it was, but I’m not a fan of horror, and just the fact you had to take pictures to see ghosts or get rid of them or what have you was enough for me to nope out.
Developed by Koei Tecmo
Scheduled for release on 2021
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2
There now, look what you’ve done. You’ve enjoyed Breath of the Wild so much that they’ve decided to finally set a release date for an official Breath of the Wild 2, instead of baiting you like they’d done in the past.
I hope you’re proud of yourself. And I hope you can continue the wait.
Developed by Nintendo EPD
Scheduled for release on 2022
Square Enix
Life is Strange Remastered Collection
It’s about time Life is Strange got a facial makeover, and I’m super excited about it.
Sure, it might not be much considering what Square Enix could be giving us, but it’s Life is Strange, a beloved series that everyone has enjoyed playing for the storyline and the characters themselves–love or hate them.
Developed by Deck Nine, Dontnod Entertainment
Scheduled for release on September 30, 2021
Guardians of the Galaxy
Marvel fans rejoice, as you’ve now been upgraded to Star-Lord, a self-proclaimed leader of the Guardians. It’s what you’ve always wanted, right?
Not only do you have a rag tag team to lead, but you also have an 80s soundtrack any Star-Lord would jam to, featuring Iron Maiden, KISS, New Kids On The Block, Rick Astley, etc.
Developed by Eidos Montreal
Scheduled for release on October 26, 2021
Hitman Sniper: The Shadows
If you think you’ll be playing as Agent 47 in this game, then you’ll be disappointed, as he’s actually gone missing! So that makes this the only Hitman I believe where we don’t actually see Agent 47.
Instead, there are five unique assassins players will get to choose from and “Initiative 426” has been activated.
Developed by Square Enix Montreal
Scheduled for release on 2021
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin
This is one of the reasons I love Square Enix, though I haven’t really played many of the latest Final Fantasy’s (not counting the FF7 Remake, mind you). In this one, Jack and his companions Ash and Jed face the knight Garland, who has taken on the role of Chaos.
Personally, I love how the enemies turn to crystal and you shatter them at the end of their life.

Riders Republic
There’s plenty of mass multiplayer games out there, but how many mass multiplayer playgrounds are out there that cater to almost everyone’s outdoor enjoyment? Well, Ubisoft might’ve got just the game that tickles your adrenaline junkie’s sweet spot.
Developed by Ubisoft Annecy
Scheduled for release on September 2, 2021
Rainbow Six Extraction
I believe this game is a bit different than your other Rainbow Six games, as it’s more stealth-based than a run-in and shoot anything around you.
You’ve got aliens to deal with, and they’re different species. You understand the species by sneaking up to them and killing them in a stealth way that collects their information. Aside from that, it’s all about killing them in a way that won’t have them capturing your teammates, making you extract them.
Quite interesting, indeed. No PvP in this one. Your team is either good or they suck.
Developed by Ubisoft Montreal
Scheduled for release on September 16, 2021
Just Dance 2022
Put on the deodorant and break out the sweat ladies and gents, it’s time to work that body to the beats of the songs you love. Co-op with your friends and combine your scores, challenge other Dancers from around the world to a dance-off, or do your own workout routine.
Todrick Hall mentioned their song Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels on the game and boy has it got some sass to it, gurls.

Scheduled for release on November 4, 2021
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
Just because it’s been a while since anyone has said anything about Avatar doesn’t mean nobody thinks about it anymore and nobody likes the movies, nor that nobody will like the game.
I guarantee this will have quite a large fanbase surrounding it, and judging by the trailer, it’s going to be gorgeous.
Developed by Massive Entertainment
Scheduled for release on 2022
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
I’m not jealous that I don’t have a Nintendo Switch. I’m not. I refuse to be. My nieces and nephew have one, so I’ll just steal it to play games. I’m not below it.
Mario games just keep looking better and more fun–but I also have to say those rabbids look like the stuff out of a child’s nightmares. Like, listen Peach, I know rabbits are cute and all, and kids don’t understand certain concepts, but beastiality is still frowned upon, all right?
I’m just sayin’.
Developed by Ubisoft Milan
Scheduled for release on 2022
Xbox & Bethesda
Flight Simulator on Series X|S
Let’s all take a moment and enjoy the world around us from an aerial view, shall we? Without actually wanting to pilot a real plane, unless, you know, we’re looking to get an actual license to do so.
The flight might look smooth, but the landings still make me cringe. Also, don’t forget to find your home.
Developed by Asobo Studio
Scheduled for release on July 27, 2021
The Ascent
Is it just me, or does this remind anyone else a little of Shadowrun, as far as the overall mechanics or feel of gameplay? It’s been a while since I played that game.
Anyway, if you like some action-packed shooter RPG that are set in a cyberpunk world (without Keanu Reeves, sadly), then this one might tickly your fancy!
Developed by Neon Giant
Scheduled for release on July 29, 2021
Hades on Xbox and PlayStation consoles
Nobody likes being dead, which is why you’re busting out of hell with some insane powers and weapons that even the gods on Mount Olympus would be envious of having. I mean, you kind of need them, because it’s not like the god of the dead is going to give you a free pass out.
Developed by Supergiant Games
Scheduled for release on August 13, 2021
Twelve Minutes
Now, I don’t know much about this game, other than it’s a type of short thriller. Apparently hubby is being arrested for something, making it have a groundhog day vibe as everything kind of repeats itself.
So maybe you need to make it so he doesn’t take the blame and get arrested.
Love the idea behind it.
Developed by Luis Antonio
Scheduled for release on August 19, 2021
Psychonauts 2
I know people have been waiting a long time for this release, and I’ll be damned if I don’t hear Invader Zim’s voice in this game, which also takes me back to the YouTube series Helluva Boss that I’m a fan of.
In other words, I’ll have to play this game, even though I’ve never touched the first.
