Jellyfish Crochet – Worthy of Making Your Friends Jelly

This Jellyfish Crochet is an underwater above-water pet you can hold without having to worry about that stinging sensation and the numbness that comes after. Awkwardly enough, I was searching for hentai (to go along with a game I played, don’t judge me), and these showed up.

Boy was it a refreshing sight from all the stuff I was sifting through.

Say hello to Jelly Jelly, the Jellyfish! These little crocheted sea creatures will glub and bob into your home with a splash!

They come in various colors such as Pink, Fuschia, Spring Green, and Light Blue.

Using our privately own pattern created by us, the base of the Jellyfish measures roughly 4.5 inches in diameter and 2.5 inches tall, with the tentacles / stingers measuring roughly 8 inches long.

All parts are hand crocheted and hand stitched together. Even the eyes are crocheted and stitched in to be safe for young children. Each Jellyfish takes about 2-2.5 hours to make for each one depending on the yarn that is used.

Is the Jellyfish Crochet worthy of me?

When I saw this jellyfish crochet, I at first thought it was a jellyfish hat, and it was even sitting on someone’s head in one of the pictures, but it’s not really meant to be a hat. Unless you want it to sit on your head just for a place to put it when you’re out sitting somewhere.

But in all honesty, these are adorable.

They come in a variety of colors, so you can choose the color you like. I think it’d be super cool if they’d be able to make the tentacles spiral as two different colors, rather than having the entire crochet be one color. After all, jellyfish are vibrant at times, and sticking to one color is kind of diluting.

And on that note, I’ve got good news.

After speaking with one of the owners of AmigurumiMan, he stated this:

Depending on the yarn, the tentacles could either come in a solid color or in a yarn that changes color at you go through the skein. Similar to a yarn called “Yarn Cakes”, but the color changes happen a lot more frequently, helping to create a great look. I can also crochet two colors at the same time to get a “mix” of colors, but changing yarns midway has been a difficult task to keep the tentacle look “clean” and not filled with stray yarn hanging out.

So if you’re looking for a mix of colors, it’s doable!
