It’s time to sit down and put on your thinking cap–not to be confused with the Sorting Hat–because we’ve got a barrage of LEGO Harry Potter building kits to share with you. From the magical kingdom of Hogwarts itself to the individuals we’ve all come to know and love.
Now, there are a lot of LEGO Harry Potter building kits and sets out there, and I don’t list all of them here.
Instead, I sort of picked out the more interesting ones, such as ones you might be able to build and set up somewhere for Harry Potter collectors to show off, but also others that provide a building structure for kids to play with, if they enjoy the world of Hogwarts and everything the movies or books might’ve given them to fuel their imaginations.
Let’s get building.
LEGO Harry Potter Building Kits
The Burrows
If you’re a big LEGO Harry Potter fan and you don’t mind the high price of a discontinued set (mainly because it has some interesting characters to go with it, such as the little pig and Greyback and Bellatrix), then you might look into The Burrows LEGO kit.
It’s currently under assault by death eaters and only you can stop them, by building the building, of course. And having the gang neutralize the enemy.

Diagon Alley Building Kit
Diagon Alley, the place where things happen, sometimes shady, other times not. There’s a whole lot of pieces that go into these buildings, think you can build your own Alley?
Number of pieces: 5,544
Fawkes
We couldn’t let Dumbledore’s amazing phoenix Fawkes go without a place in this LEGO Harry Potter building kits post, especially when there are Hedwig figures to build and collect as well. The phoenix is such a beautiful and fiery bird to own, with its wings open, ready to take flight.
What’s even better is phoenixes can rise from the ashes. So if you happen to tear down this piece of art, you can always put it back together.

Harry, Hermione, Ron & Hagrid
In order to get the BrickHeadz Hagrid LEGO figurine, you’ll be needing to buy him with his buddies, the team trio, in this set. Kind of awkward how he’s with the three of them and not his faithful, non-cowardly hound, but they’re just as faithful, I guess.
Number of pieces: 466
Harry Potter & Hedwig
There’s nothing like a chibified version of a wizard named Harry in your collection, and thanks to LEGO BrickHeadz, you can have him and his snow owl Hedwig to assemble and adore.

Harry & Hermione Building Set
Some kids like the smaller LEGO Harry Potter models to fit in with the building sets and to go along with all the other LEGO characters they might have collected. And then there are those that like to build their own characters with the LEGO pieces given to them, such as Harry and Hermione here.

Harry Potter Hogwarts Crests
Every Harry Potter fan fits themselves into one of the house, and I’m no exception–I’m pretty much Slytherin all the way. Just the title of being a Hufflepuff makes me cringe, Ravenclaw is a house I don’t think much about, and Gryffindor are just all heroes-to-be.
Everyone loves a good villain.
Look at Malfoy and Professor Snape, for instance.

Hedwig
Your favorite snow owl mail carrier is here to be put together and perch on top of a mail post, in flight, because birds of any kind look more awesome with their wings out. Plus, Hedwig is too adorable to hide those plumes in a tucked away manner.

Hermione Granger Building Kit
We’ve got big-headed and bright-eyed Harry and Ron, so now it’s Hermione’s turn to get showcased and possibly complete the collection if you have the others. There’s not much to say about her, but…she looks ready for some schoolwork.

Hogwarts Castle Building Kit
If you’re looking to just have the Hogwarts castle and its many residents–several Harry Potter characters and creatures alike–then this LEGO kit will give you something to build in your free time. It gives you plenty of areas to have access to at Hogwarts, without expanding too much into the outer portion of Hogwarts.

Hogwarts Express and Minifigures
There’s no better way to get to Hogwarts than taking the train at Platform 9 3/4–I’m sure we’ve all seen how flying cars drive, after all. But in order to hop on that train, it needs a bit of fixing up, and by fixing up, I mean someone needs to build it to get the choo-choo movin’.

Hogwarts Icons Collectors’ Edition
You get so much more than our lovely Hedwig in this building kit, and that’s what makes it a favorite more than likely among Harry Potter fans.
Along with Harry’s snow owl, you also get Harry’s wand and glasses, his scarf and invitation into Hogwarts, which Hedwig proudly displays in her talons. There’s also the Golden Snitch, of course, and Tom Riddle’s diary that you probably shouldn’t mess with, and many more.

Knight Bus Building Kit
Nothing was more fun of a ride than the Knight Bus, because what’s more amazing than a bus that can go super fast and weave between cars and also smoosh itself to fit between two. Not to mention the decapitated head shouting orders.

Magic Wizarding World
Need to keep busy for a while? Want a model of the entirety of the wizarding world of Harry Potter instead of just a singular building or object? With this Harry Potter LEGO building kit, you get to see the Whomping Willow, the Quidditch stadium, the forbidden forest, as well as the castle of Hogwarts itself.

The Monster Book of Monsters
There aren’t many LEGO pieces to build in this one, but that doesn’t make it a terrible addition to your LEGO Harry Potter collection. In fact, the Monster Book was probably one of my favorite creatures to come across in Hogwarts, because it was so unique.
Imagine a book coming out from under your bed and trying to attack your feet.

Ron Weasley & Albus Dumbledore
Kind of an odd pairing here to be in the same box, but hey, maybe Ron got in trouble and was sent to Dumbledore for a talking to. Either way, we had to get in some LEGO Dumbledore action, seeing as we have most of all the other cast of characters. And he’s kind of just as important, if not more.
Number of pieces: 245
Voldemort, Nagini & Bellatrix
Not everyone roots for the good guys, and so here these three are.
I have to admit, I admire the LEGO hairstyle of Bellatrix in this trio, and I’m sorry Voldy, but sometimes, bald just isn’t that beautiful. Especially with your pasty complexion. Nagini, however, is flat out adorable.

Wizard’s Chess Building Set
Have a love for Harry Potter and a competitive streak in Chess? There’s no better blend than to build your own LEGO Harry Potter style of chess board with chess pieces. Luckily, it doesn’t play like wizard’s chess, though I suppose you could.
Nothing like smashing a chess piece to bits to make sure it won’t get back up again.
