All right, I can tell you for sure, that I have not played everything in this listing of psychological horror PC games of 2019, and a lot of them I haven’t even heard of. But I’ve taken most of these from the Steam page, in which case they needed to be at least mostly positive for them to even land on this list.
Not only that, but I kind of had to use my own intuition on whether or not if the genre was correct or not, because people place tags all willy-nilly on games, whether it’s right or not.
Due to me not knowing a lot about many of the games below, I’ll only be writing the informational blurb regarding the games, and not my own thoughts about them. However, if I’ve played the game and have written a review about it on my other website, I’ll throw in a link over to it, or at least mention whether I prefer the game over others.
I created this post because I recently played a psychological horror game that I enjoyed, and I honestly like them a lot more than flat out horror.
Psychological Horror PC Games of 2019
Catherine Classic

I think the psychological horror aspect to this game comes from the phobia of water. If you have this phobia, you might not want to play this game, as it is VR, and it may hinder your progress in playing it.
CHAOS;CHILD

I’m on Observation Duty
Your job is to monitor live surveillance camera footage and spot anomalies in the monitored rooms. Anomalies range from furniture movement to otherworldly intruders. When you spot an anomaly you have to file a report to fix it. You will need sharp eyes and good memory to survive the entire night.
PROZE: Enlightenment
PROZE is a VR puzzle adventure set in both past and present. It’s a story of friendship and duty, fear and dignity of the people facing the Soviet government and its echoes. Explore a Cold-War era military research facility, deal with the anomalies, solve the puzzles, and find out the answers.
