There are a lot of steampunk sculptures out there, but you can’t rock out with one of those sculptures like you can with a steampunk guitar. What’s even better is one of these bad boys is always an original, because it’s kind of hard to create a unique steampunk item, let alone duplicate them.
I haven’t seen any other guitars like this one. Reminds me of a gargoyle’s skin, perhaps, and then there’s the skull, and the open portions showing cogwheels.
Have I become a steampunk enthusiast?
Up for sale is a beautiful hand sculpted/carved ESP LTD EC-50. Everything on this guitar including the skull hardware was hand made by myself. The only things I did not hand make is the gauge, the toggle cover and gears. This guitar took me about a month to make working on it everyday. Overall it is a very clean guitar and looks wicked!I have branched my business out to making custom sculpted guitars and all my guitars are numbered on the back. This one is #3. So here’s your chance to get one of my early ones. The guitar comes with a hard case. Guitar looks much sweeter in person. I don’t take the greatest pics! But, I try.
Looking for more Steampunk Guitars?
Steampunk is a fascinating architectural concept when it comes to building objects revolving around the theme. You’ve got all the gears, the robotic, rustic look, and all the different kinds of items people can break down to make such products–and they’ve made them into instruments. You know what that means?
It’s time to rock out with our cogs out.
- MetalArtbyGLEN over on Etsy sells a pretty expensive custom welded electric guitar, combining a lot of scrap parts. I feel like this one is more for decorative purposes.
- Reverb has a steampunk guitar that looks like an actual guitar with a steampunk theme.
- Check out this YouTube video of a custom steampunk guitar.
- The other links I’ve given are more rotund guitars, but a seller on Etsy has a very cool looking bass guitar with a steampunk theme.
