8 WonderCon Funko Pop Exclusives for 2020 Worthy of the Virtual Con

WonderCon’s convention might’ve been canceled due to COVID-19, but that didn’t stop them from procuring a line of WonderCon Funko Pop Exclusives for 2020 on the FunkoShop store as well as other retail locations at the time.

Now, bear in mind if you’re a convention-goer, WonderCon has been an at-home event for two years, but as of 2022, it’s now an in-person event once again!

We side-stepped the point of this post, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

The Funko Pop figurines shown here aren’t the only products that were made exclusively for WonderCon 2020. Oh no, these are just the Pops that collectors and maybe non-collectors have a love for. The other products that had been selling were Funko Soda Figures as well as some merch that you could buy to support your need for virtual conventions and Funko itself.

There were 8 Funko Pop WonderCon exclusives released in 2020, so let’s get to them.

WonderCon Funko Pop Exclusives for 2020

Pop Coco #741 Miguel with Guitar

Jam out during the Day of the Dead just like Miguel did in the movie Coco. Hopefully you won’t face the same difficulties that he did when trying to add this Funko Pop figurine to your collection.

Pop DC Super Heroes #333 Captain Atom

It’s stated in the Captain Atom wikipedia page that he’s existed in three basic incarnations, and well, that needs updated, because here’s another–an incarnation as a Funko Pop!

If that’s the case, no wonder he’s exclusive…

Pop Pokemon #577 Eevee Flocked

After seeing a Flocked Eevee as a Funko Pop I don’t think any of the other versions hit this kind of quality. You already know Eevee has all that neck fluff you want to bury your face into, so why wouldn’t it have a kind of fuzzy outside to the figurine?

Pop Pokemon #579 Pichu Flocked

WonderCon Funko Pop Exclusives for 2020

Pikachu has been deemed overrated for this event, thus the flocked Pichu stands in its place. If you’re a fan of adorable Pokemon and have a collection of Funko Pops awaiting for you to catch ’em all, here’s one of the cuter, more exclusive catches.

Pop Rides #80 Cheshire at the Mad Tea Party in Teacup

If you’ve ever been on the teacups ride at Disney Parks, then you’ll know why the Cheshire Cat is having so much fun here. Hopefully nobody dealt with any hairball situations from the constant spinning.

Yikes.

Pop Star Wars #297 Boba Fett Futura Burgundy Red

Don’t confuse this guy with the Boba Fett bobblehead that’s out there, because the two kind of look the same, aside from the base. Unless you don’t mind an imposter among your Funko Pop Star Wars collection.

Pop Trolls #03 Pink Troll Rainbow

Love the rainbow, but just don’t eat this one. Despite a troll’s hair always looking like cotton candy, it probably doesn’t taste as pleasant

This is just the first troll Funko Pop, with the second one coming up. The main difference is merely the color of the hair, but hey, if you’re one of the collectors that also fit in with the LGBQT scenario, it might be worth having on your shelf.

Pop Trolls #06 Blue Troll Rainbow

As stated above, this is the second of the WonderCon trolls Funko Pop, featuring blue hair instead of pink. I guess they wanted everyone to feel free to choice a gender-specific color choice? Pink mainly for chicks, blue for dudes?

We all know that color theory goes out the window, but you know how people are.
