Clock into your unbirthday with this Mad Hatter Cuckoo Clock. It will remind you of the zany world of Alice in Wonderland and how they packed so much weird shit into one film, because they packed just as much of that shit into this cuckoo clock.
Which one makes more sense?
The clock, or the movie?
Is the Mad Hatter Cuckoo Clock worthy of me?
Pros
- So much character packed into one decoration
Cons
- The clock is a bit small and hard to read
Jump down the rabbit hole with this Alice in Wonderland “Mad Hatter” wall clock–a beautiful depiction of some of the most famous scenes from Lewis Carol’s wacky masterpiece.
I love how detailed this thing is.
We’ve got Alice and the Hare running from the chaotic scene while the Hare stares at his enormous pocket watch. You can almost here him shouting “I’m late!”
The talking doorknob smiles at their scene (which is kind of weird for him).
Then there’s the iconic Cheshire Cat, perhaps the most famous character from the story, grinning his wide grin from up in the tree, looking a little less threatening than some depictions I’ve seen, but still very mischievous.
The Mad Hatter and gang are springing from enormous tea cups, ready to celebrate their unbirthdays, while a somewhat confused caterpillar watches.
Finally the Queen of Hearts and her minions hang from the bottom of the clock, the Queen’s rage clear on her face as she screams, “Off with her head!”
I’m amazed that this clock managed to cram all the wackiness of this story into just one product. The colorful characters and beautiful design of it means you’ll never get tired of looking at it on your wall. And when it gets dark the whole thing lights up, making it stand out even more!
